Roswell Hornets Varsity Takes 5-1 Victory Over Forsyth Central

Roswell Hornets Varsity took home a 5-1 victory over Forsyth Central on Friday.

Forsyth Central got things started in the second inning when Brady Hall singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.

Roswell Hornets Varsity pulled away for good with four runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Aaron Wright singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run and Will Troutman singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Mike Convery led the Roswell Hornets Varsity to victory on the hill. He went four innings, allowing one run on four hits and striking out six. Matthew Nay and Trevor Gasgarth entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game.

Convery went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Roswell Hornets Varsity in hits.
