Today it was announced that schools will be shut down until 4/24 and making the first available play date for sports 4/27. There is a lot of decisions that have to be made that is above all of our heads and hopefully we will have some bit of concrete answers over the next few days. Spring sports are NOT canceled (several media outlets have made this claim) and GHSA is looking at all the ways that they can make it work. Obviously the longer we are out the harder it is and when you move into the summer there is a lot more conflicts but I will let you know as soon as I do on what the decision is. I hate this…I hate it for our athletes, hate it for our community, and hate it for our parents. The best I can do right now is keep prepping the field as if we will have games coming up, keep my ears open and keep you all informed on what is going on.
